Our Inspiration

The product is inspired by our roots in Africa, where meat as a snack has been a tradition for centuries. In South Africa, Biltong is a very popular meat product. Across the whole of West Africa, dried meat is sold extensively as an evening spicy snack called "Suya".

The recipe for Turkey Shreds is a traditional process passed from generation to generation and used exclusively for special occasions like weddings and festivals. Turkey Shreds is the only turkey snack available as an everyday meal, instead of the traditional once a year Christmas consumption.
