Eating Turkey Shreds as a Snack
Option 1: Turkey Shreds can be eaten straight from the pack. For optimum satisfaction microwave to warm for 30 sec to 1 min.
Option 2: Turkey Shreds can be eaten as a snack, garnished with Tomato, Onions and Cucumber.
Ingredients
- 2 Packets of Turkey Shreds
- 1 Medium size Tomato
- ¼ sized Onion
- ¼ sized Cucumber
- Suya Pepper
Preparation: Open two packs of Turkey Shreds into a plate. Slice a medium sized tomato and a quarter sized onion with a quarter sized cucumber. Sprinkle some Suya pepper as desired. Ready to eat. Serve and enjoy!
Salad with Turkey Shreds
Ingredients
- 2 Packets of Turkey Shreds (Per serving)
- 1 Packet of 250g Cherry Tomatoes
- ½ a Packet of Rocket Salad or Salad of your choice
- ½ sized Red Pepper (Capsicum)
- ½ sized Cucumber
- Caesar Dressing or Cream Salad
- 3 Boiled Eggs (optional)
Preparation: Boiled 3 Eggs and leave in cold water to cool, Peel and cut diagonally into 4 or 6 equal size and put into salad bowl. Slice the washed Cherry tomatoes into halves and put into a salad bowl. Then dice the washed � red pepper and � cucumber into the salad bowl and add the � packet of Rocket salad to it. Then mix everything together and chill in the fridge for an hour. Bring out the salad bowl and serve a portion adding 2 packets of Turkey Shreds. Top with
Caesar Dressing or Cream Salad as desired. Ready to eat and enjoy!
Fried Rice with Turkey Shreds
Ingredients (Serves 2)
- 3 Packets of Turkey Shreds
- 2 cups of brown Rice or Basmati Rice
- 4 Table Spoon of Vegetable oil
- 3 leaves of Bay leaf
- A pinch of Salt
- ½ teaspoon of curry
- ½ teaspoon of Thyme
- 2-3 Stock Cubes of your choice
- Stock water from cooked chicken or beef
- Diced Chicken or Prawns
- Mixed Vegetable
Preparation: Stir fry the diced chicken or prawn for 2-3mins, then add some mixed vegetables and some spices and stir at intervals. Remove after 5-6mins. Then put the 2 cups of washed rice into hot oil and stir fry for about 5mins. Add the 3 leaves of bay leaf, ½ teaspoon of curry, ½ teaspoon of thyme, 2-3 stock cubes and stock water from chicken or beef and some water. Leave to simmer for 10-15mins, then stir and add some more water and leave to simmer for another 15mins, taste and add some salt if required. Check if it is soft and add the stirred fried Chicken and Vegetables and leave to simmer for 10-15mins. When the Fried rice is ready, serve in a plate with the Turkey Shreds.
Turkey Shreds in Tortilla Wrap
Ingredients
- 1 Packet of Turkey Shreds
- 1 Tortilla Wrap
- Rocket Salad
- Cherry Tomatoes
- Caesar Dressing
- Tomato Ketchup
Preparation: Dry fry each wrap for 10-15secs each side. Arrange Rocket salad at one end of the wrap, add some sliced cherry tomatoes and some Turkey Shreds. Then put either
Caesar Dressing or Tomato Ketchup, or a little of both. Wrap and enjoy.
Noodles Stir Fry with Turkey Shreds
Ingredients
- 2 Packets of Turkey Shreds
- 1 Packet of Noodles
Preparation: Boil 500mls of water in a pot, then add two packets of Turkey Shreds and leave to boil for 12 minutes. Then add the block of noodles and seasoning and simmer for another 6-8mins. Stir occasionally and serve immediately.
Turkey Shreds with Noodles Soup
Ingredients
- 2 Packets of Turkey Shreds
- 1 Packet of Noodles
Preparation: Boil 750mls of water in a pot, then add two packets of Turkey Shreds and leave to cook for 12 minutes. Then add the block of Noodles and seasoning and simmer for another 4-6mins. Stir at intervals to loosen the noodles and serve immediately.
